Facebook is one of the largest and most popular social media sites that is available to the general population to. It is a free service where you can post what you are doing as well as post pictures that everyone can see. This has lead to an issue that many parents face today, whether they should let their child have a Facebook or not. The problem with having a Facebook is that EVERYONE can see your photos and to some parents that is scary because there are predators out in the world that might stalk and harm your child. Children however do not think about predators but more about connecting with their friends through this popular social media service. Children don't think twice about what they post and what they do post could harm them, they could post where they are going to be and other information that child predators could use to track them down and harm them. I think that you should be about 16 years old before you have a Facebook, 16 years gives you a lot of time to mature and realize that predators are a real threat to all of us. I also feel that Facebook should try to make their social media site a lot more private and secure so these crimes are less likely to happen and people are a lot more safe and what they post is not available for the whole world to see.
